Sebastian begins with the murder that Nicholas was accused of committing, sensing he wasn’t getting the truth about what happened to Chantal de LaRivièra. What early suspicions rose for you?

Joanna | 139 comments Well, the husband didn't seem too distraught over her death. I figured both men had something to hide and Chantal was just at the wrong place at the wrong time.

I agree, Joanna. Her husband was rather cold about it and no one could connect Nicholas to Chantal in a way that could explain why he would want to kill her. From the start, I knew we didn’t have anything close to the truth about what happened.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 242 comments I suspected a conspiracy from the start. I didn't realize how many people were involved, but I felt Brownbeck and the Count had to work together.

Good observation, Sharon. I suspected the Count but hadn’t added anyone else at this point!
