5/5 Loved this book! Any fan of historical fiction, serial killers, female antagonist, psychic abilities, or adventure books will most likely enjoy this one. Though creepy, it was interesting how they identified bodies by placing them on display in a viewing room for people to come see. It makes me want to research and see if that is really how things were done in the late 1800's.

I did not enjoy this book. I thought it was a bit too creepy. I was confused by Nathalie's powers, they seemed to me to be all over the place. Maybe fans of historical fiction will enjoy it. 2 out of 5.
