When Mercy first met Tom, she felt he looked familiar and his ranch reminded her of her uncles’ ranch from her childhood. Did you have any suspicions about his identity, him being her Uncle Aaron? Your thoughts about her father’s complicity? Do you think Kirk Kilpatrick was aware of Owen’s involvement with Tom? Would he have objected?

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments I had no idea that Tom could be related to Mercy. I am still furious with her father.

I didn’t have a clue, either, though that big one made me think it was someone from her past.

I’m not a fan of Dad. Long row to hoe to get me to feel differently about him.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments It never crossed my mind that McDonald was related to Mercy. When she had that flashback, I thought it was a trigger about good family times.

It will be harder for me to accept Kirk than Owen. He threw his daughter out on her own. Not only that he didn't want her siblings to have anything to do with her.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments It never dawned on me that MacDonald was her long-lost uncle or any other relative. It was a good twist.

I wasn't surprised that Mercy's father knew about his BIL the whole time. I can't stand that man and I don't trust him. I'm assuming he didn't know that Owen was hanging out at MacDonald's ranch, but you never know with this guy. Maybe he blames his daughter for Levi's death too.

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) That was a great twist. No, I never tweaked to that at all.

Not a great fan of Mercy's father, he really likes keeping secrets and the power over the family and his wife.
