Eh, that's not an old movie. Something from 1946, you might call 'old'. But Sam Neill and Martin Sheen, dang I'd watch that anytime. Good actors.

Do you mean Stewart was in this too?

Also: what kind of action was in this flick?

Is the story about Enigma/Ultra/Magic?

And the 'Hungarian' --'Toby Esterhause'? (Character name). Actor name: Sir Nigel Barnard? (although I could be grievously mistaken).

A similar movie: George Segal in 'Russian Roulette'. Who would ever thought that Segal would ever return to East Berlin after his romp as 'Quiller'?

These all seem like weak-sisters.

I'll recommend two much more authentic (Eastern European setting) films:

'The American Friend' by Wim Wenders starring Dennis Hopper

'The Upper Crust' starring Frank Gorshin in a deadly serious role; he nails it. Exquisite.
