#1 In Your Dreams - 1/1/15 - feels kind of like cheating since I started this in 2014 - but I read most of it (60%) yesterday, so i'm counting it
#2 I Only Have Eyes for You - 1/2/15 - quick/easy read, but nothing to rave about - I read the series because it's pure comfort
#3 Strength Training for Triathletes: The Complete Program to Build Triathlon Power, Speed, and Muscular Endurance - 1/5/15 - informative read; breaks down works in multiple ways depending on your goals - my only wish, some more half-iron/ironman mention - focus seems more on sprint/olympic tris
#4 Come A Little Bit Closer - 1/5/15 - I keep reading these hoping for a mind-blowing one - but they are becoming more and more disappointing - I wanted more for Smith (since i'd been waiting for his HEA) - but the pages of movie script intertwined just irked me
#5 Ironskin - 1/6/15 - finished up the audiobook on my extra long commute this am (normally 30 min, turned into 2.5 hours) - I think I may have enjoyed it more if I didn't love Jane Eyre - since it was a retelling of that from a PNR angle - it was good, but not great
#6 Born in Death - 1/6/15 - I remember now why I don't listen to these back to back - it was good, but after listening to 3 in fairly short timeline (the last 5 weeks), i'm a bit burnt out on Eve/Rourke
#7 Death Cache - 1/7/15 - this author is one everyone raves about and after reading 2 of her books I can see why. Although, I was kind of disappointed in this one - it was nominally about geocaching, but barely any mention once the action started and I figured out the who done it fairly early on
#8 Destination Wedding - 1/10/15 - read this while stuck at the car mechanic this am - reminded me of The Wedding Planner movie with J-Lo, but with a mistaken identity twist - it was good, but i didn't love it
#9 1984 - 1/11/15 - I'm probably one of the few people that hasn't read this, I tried several times, but never made it past about 10%, but I picked up the audio - I liked the narration; however, there was a point at about 2/3 of the way through (with all the political ideology stuff) - that my eyes started to glaze over
#10 Angels' Blood - 1/11/15 - this was a re-listen of a book I read a few years ago - honestly, I don't remember lots about the book from when I originally read it - so this was almost like reading from new
#11 Snowy Days, Steamy Nights: Come in from the Cold - a bit of a hit/miss on the anthology - really liked 2 of the stories; 2 were ok and 2 I just wasn't a fan of - but a few new authors for me to check out in the future
#12 Charmfall - seriously disappointed with this book - it felt like the first half was a rehash of the previous 2 books in the series and then was just left hanging....
#13 Infinity + One - 1/14/15 - wow, I was surprised how much I liked this book - people rave about Amy Harmon and i'm always skeptical - but this was the second book by her that i've really enjoyed - a modern day Bonnie and Clyde - will be reading more by her in the future
#14 Deadly Tasting - 1/14/15 - intriguing cozy mystery with a wine taster as the protagonist - but I don't know if it was the translation, or what, but something felt like it was missing and the crime was solved really quick
#15 Island of a Thousand Mirrors - 1/16/15 - historical fiction (ish) - since it was set mid-80's about 2 girls coming of age during the Sri Lankan civil war - solid read/listen - will be checking this narrator out for more books
#16 Die Again - 1/16/15 - after a couple of recent disappointing books in the series, this was reminiscent of some of the earlier books in the series - i had half the mystery figured out
#17 Liar, Temptress, Soldier, Spy: Four Women Undercover in the Civil War - 1/17/15 - I never would have picked this up if it hadn't been mentioned in the Washington Post - but I felt a bit disappointed - I liked the idea of telling the 4 stories of the women but it bounced around too much for me and i had a hard time keeping track of which woman was which at times
#18 Bound by Night - 1/17/15 - weird reading a Larissa Ione that didn't have her demons in it - but I liked her take on vampires and have already requested the second book from the library
#19 Ugly Love - 1/18/15 - wasn't a fan of tate - but fairly typical Hoover read - angsty with a decent resolution - I saw the twist coming
#20 The Sum of All Kisses - 1/19/15 - conflicted on this one - wasn't a fan of Sarah, but I liked seeing the resolution of the duel storyline that has been the center of the previous 2 books - will be interesting to see how she ties up the quartet in the last book
#21 It's Always Been You - 1/19/15 - wasn't my favorite in the series - honestly Ben just irked me a bit (probably because I've come across officers like him in my career) - but I liked Olivia as well as seeing Reza/Emily from the previous book - will be interested to see where she takes this series
