Joanna Loves Reading (joannalovesreading) I read One Hundred Years of Solitude with this group and liked it. I may try to read this one, but I don’t know if I have the focus to follow it at the moment.

Katie I was probably going to read it eventually, but I found a copy in Spanish and since I needed practice over the summer anyway, I thought it was perfect timing to start reading with the group.

Kylie Stoneburner (lunchbox89) | 197 comments I've never read this before, and I figure it's about time that I do!

aPriL does feral sometimes (cheshirescratch) | 689 comments I recently read this novel. I liked the author's cleverness more than the book! It's one of those.

Ariana A few years ago, I decided to read the top 100 books on BBC's "The Big Read" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Big...). "Love in the Time of Cholera" is on that list and I haven't gotten around to reading it so far - so here we go. :-)

This will be the second book by Garcia Marquez for me - I read Chronicle of a Death Foretold a few years back and liked it. Looking forward to reading another of his novels and also to reading what others think about the book.

RJ - Slayer of Trolls (hawk5391yahoocom) I read this several years ago. While I was reading it, I thought it was boring and slow, but when I finished it I found that the narrative and the characters stayed with me. GGM's writing is beautiful, and the story of the star-crossed lovers is really an excuse for him to write about all the different kinds of love, and how and why "love" is so difficult to define. I will re-read this one again someday.

Ehsan Bahrami | 8 comments I read one hundred years of solitude before and I didn't like it at all but i heard from my friend who also didn't like that book that love in the time of cholera is a good one and when I noticed we are reading it in this group I joinded the reading.

Jaclyn~she lives! catching up on reviews~ (jackyrin) | 83 comments I am excited to read this!! I’m kind of behind of my reads this month, but I’m starting it today. I considered reading it in the original Spanish to practice but that would take twice as long so I grabbed an English translation and am ready to sit back with a cup of coffee and read into the night.
