I am actually attempting to get a list of the Heroes we read. Not an easy task.

You don't have to list only the books you read. If you remember a book you read in the past but it might help someone else in the challenge then please list it.

One of my all time favorites, Ayla, from The Clan of the Cave Bear: Earth's Children Series by Jean M. Auel! The Clan of the Cave Bear I love that heroine! She inspired my own book's heroine, Susan Winthrop from The Harem. The Harem Both heroines begin with nothing and simply find ways to help, but end up being incredibly strong, resilient, compassionate, persistent, accomplished and so much more.

Heir to a Dark Inheritance the heroine, Jada Patel, is Indian, although raised in America.
