A short tale in graphic (web-comic) form:

That's really beautiful. I'm not a fan of graphic novels (let's just call them comics, can we?), but it did get the point across beautifully.

I thought it was well done, too.

I'm guessing the term came about to distinguish book length works from comic strips and comic books (which are more like small magazines). Or I could just Google it and come up with this.

It was really well done. I'm not sure why, but the panel where Olive says that it's fine if nothing new happens, followed by the drawing of Charlie looking to the side worked really well to telegraph that obviously something had changed.

It reminded me of this story I recently heard on Pseudopod, Punksnotdead, http://pseudopod.org/2014/12/12/pseud... . Only seems to be available in audio, but it's an excellent reading.

It's pretty interesting to go back through the panels after reading it to see the little hints and nods toward the death that is masked during the first reading. That Pseudopod site looks pretty cool all around. Hoping to listen to the story you linked to shortly--thanks!

Marc- you should totally spend some time with Pseudopod. Great stories, and I could listen to Alisdair all day. He was my only company at one stage during my stint in Townsville!

God, yes! I love Alisdair Stuart! Even when the story is so-so, his outros are still fantastic. He pulls conceptual gems out of even the tritist tales. Not that there aren't many great stories in their own right on Pseudopod. And some pretty great readers.
