I just love a book that is able to bring out conflicting emotions at different points in the story, at times I was laughing, other times crying like a baby, this is the mark of a good book and author for sure!
I want a Harold, he is the sweetest guy, and when we first meet him we learn of his infatuation with Mario which started in high school when Harold was his tutor. Mario was deep in the closet, so when high school was said and done these two men lived very different lives.
We see Harold settled with Stuart, and Mario not as happy, these two meet over the years several times, but can they ever let the past go and just move on, it proves harder for one than the other.
This book will make you laugh like a loon, and cry buckets. We get to see Harold grow and become stronger through the lessons he learns in his years of knowing Mario, and you will feel like you know him and identify by the time the book ends!
Don't miss this one friends, it is a heartfelt story magical in the telling! Thanks Joe for putting your heart on the page for us to savor!
