Hi. Theory here that maybe everyone thinks, maybe no one. I haven’t read IT just know the main premise so don’t bash me too hard if I have everything screwed up.
So: In DT7, Roland and co. arrive at a house where there’s a guy who does stand up comedy and seems to be feeding off their laughter. He later shape-shifts into a strange creature that they kill.
Could he be another version of IT that feeds on laughter instead of fear? Again, if this is super obvious or completely untrue please accept my lack of knowledge as an excuse.
You are not incorrect, Wyatt. In multiple SK books there are characters, or voices, that say "We are Legion". We are meant to understand that within the multiverse, that King has created, there are beings that feed on others. They feed on their fears, their pain, their life's essence, their physical bodies, and surely some that feed on their hysteria caused by uncontrollable laughter. The worlds of Stephen King are so vast, which is a large part of the journey when reading through his catalogue. That is very observant of you. Keep reading, and you'll be amazed at the multitude of connections that you find.
