That scene in the shop was awesomely done. It reminded me a lot of the moment in Jurassic Park, when the hunter sneaks forward to take out a Dino, realises it’s a trap and whispers ‘clever girl’ half a second before he gets munched on from either side.

I didn’t even suspect Dr Caldwell when she stayed behind. My head was still on the ‘dying soon of hand owies’, so I didn’t think she could even do that. Kind of impressed by her evil thoughtlessness tbh.

So it was just me who sort of sided with Dr Caldwell some of the time. She was trying to find a way to defeat the Hungries, after all...

That scene from Jurassic Park was my favourite moment in the film though...

Well in fairness to her, she is trying to do the smart thing and find a cure...but she is also snagging bits of mushroom with her bandaged hands like it’s not going to soak up the spores...if her fingers start going full fungus, I’ll be singing ‘she had it coming...’
