Those are some of my go to sweet angsty romance, though they are a bit problematic..if you don't have a problem with it, I'd recommend them

Only When It's Us by Chloe Liese is my favorite read this year, so I highly recommend it.

I'm currently reading The Boys of Jackson Harbor Series by Lexi Ryan and really enjoying it. Great chemistry, little bit of angst but not too much. I find these days that it's hard for me to read anything too dark....but I think we're all handling 2020 in our own way! ;-)

I agree, this was an amazing series and I don't know no one who has read them to disagree...It will pull you right out of that slump.

I second Christine & Erika ♥OwlwaysReading♥!!! This series is so highly addictive and all my friends that I rec'd it to literally jumped from book to book not even wanting to stop to review. And for most people it stays 5 stars with each book - meaning if you like the story, then the books never start to slump.

It's not some drawn out series where the author could've condensed but published more for money. Each one is necessary.

Mariana Zapata! They are slow burn romance with some humor! My favorites are Wall of Winnipeg & Me, Kulti & Hands Down.

The Rival by Vi Keeland one of the best books I've read this year with unforgettable characters.

Sex and Vanity by Kevin Kwan some angst but overall light with lots of over the top like Crazy Rich Asians

Have you read the Winston Brothers or Knitting in the City series by Penny Reid? I started with Beauty and the Mustache and read the Winston Brothers first and then went back to the Knitting in the City series. Intelligent and heart felt romance, but people dealing with real issues - last books in Winston Series around Billy and Scarlet's romance has lots of angst, but with a sighworthy HEA.
