I am using Becky's 2015 Owned TBR Reduction Challenge as inspiration to accomplish the same goal. I know that waiting until I've read 10 books to purchase a new one is a little too aggressive for me, so I've adapted it a bit.

Valerie's Clear the Shelf Challenge

Goal: To reduce the number of books that I own, but have not yet read.

The Rules:
1. For every (5) books that I read I will earn (1) credit
2. Lose (1) credit for each new book purchased
3. Audible credits do not count toward new purchases
4. End the year with fewer unread books that I own

I made a big will save today . . . there were some really tempting Kindle Daily Deal offers today, but I resisted the urge to purchase.
