There was a moment after Kip Todd had been taken down when Noah looks at Lucy strangely but doesn’t ask her the question she thinks he really wanted to ask. He then carries her out and gives her to Sean, saying, “She’s all yours.” Is there some bigger meaning here? What do you think was going on with Noah?

My gut feeling was that it was something personal about his feelings for her. I agree with Sean, I think Noah has feelings for Lucy.

I agree, Anita. I think in that moment he was going to declare something really personal and caught himself. Turning her over to Sean was symbolic, his way of saying to himself that she wasn’t his to have.

I don’t think Noah was aware of his feelings.

I agree with both of you. It sounded like Noah had the realization that he has feelings for Lucy, but Lucy doesn't return them. He knew enough to keep his mouth shut and hand her over to her boyfriend.

I wonder where this goes in future books.

Jonetta, I'm hoping Noah finds someone else. I'm betting he and Lucy may be partnered when she becomes a full-time agent. It would be really awkward for her if he's still stuck on her. That is...if she realizes it.

I’m sure Lucy is clueless about his feelings but Sean certainly has him nailed. Noah definitely needs to work hard at someone new.

I agree with everyone. Noah needs to move on to someone new.

I hope he doesn't break up Sean & Lucy, but I think Sean's secret is going to do that anyway. Sean is so good for Lucy, but he will only have himself to blame if Lucy turns from him to Noah.

I think he is in love with Lucy but realizes that she is unaware of his feelings. Knowing that Sean knows this, he gave her over to her love. I hope Sean doesn't fade from that relationship -- he seems perfect for her, other than his overprotectiveness. I can take this
in stories better than ones where the heroine is TSTL.

I totally agree with you all. Noah needs to let Lucy go and I like how he stopped himself and took her to Sean.
