Alex was sitting in her room doing boring homework when she heard the noise. The familiar noise that always followed with a big blue box that was bigger on the inside. She quickly threw her text book and papers onto her bed and ran outside.

"Doctor!" She said, surprised to see him. After a minute, she realised what he'd said. "What's going on?" She asked and crossed her arms.

"Doctor. What's going on at my school? C'mon you can tell me! Not like I really have that many friends," she shrugged

"Most dangerous criminal?! How do you expect me not to go to school when something like that is going on?" She smirked.

"Doctor wait. What's this criminal wanted for?" She asked

"Are you serious?" She asked

Alex just glowered at the TARDIS for a second, as if the doctor could see her, then turned around and ran back into her house to get her school supplies. The bus would be here any minute.

Alex was in the hallway picking up her books and papers from the floor when the bell rang. She caught sight of the doctor and gave him a weak smile as she stood up. "Off to AP Physics. The other kids here don't exactly like having a fifteen year old in their class..." She said and glanced at the mess of papers and books in her hands.

"Do you know who the criminal is yet?" She asked him as they walked down the hallway past bustling kids.

"Anything else I should know?" She stopped outside a door labeled 4B - Physics Lab and looked at him

"That's just... Great." Alex sighed, then said "You know, I could skip class and help you find this guy? I mean, it's not ditching school. I'm still here."

She stuck her tongue out at him them walked into the classroom. Everyone was up and about the classroom, waiting for class to start. Alex made her way to her seat. She heard a few of the usual remarks that people made about her. Someone threw a balled up price of paper at her. Alex just ignored it all and waited for their teacher, Mr. Baywood, to come in and just start the class.

((Totally XD my friend julianna got my friend Sanjana a necklace for Christmas. Julianna has one that says jerk, and Sanjana now has one that says b*tch and both have the supernatural star thingy. It's so funny, we refer to julianna as Dean, Sanjana as Sam, and me as Cas and it just gets really funny sometimes))

Once Mr. Baywood came in, the rest of the class settled down. "Alright class, today we will be doing a lab on newtons three laws of physics by - " he paused and his eyes fell onto Alex. She wasn't paying any attention to what he was saying, and she seemed nervous. Normally she would have interjected with the history of what they were learning about right now. "Something wrong, Alex?" Mr. Baywood asked. Alex looked up at him, startled. "Oh, sorry Mr. Baywood. I'm not feeling very good, can I go to the health office?" Alex asked. Mr. Baywood nodded. She quickly gathered her things into her backpack and walked out of the classroom. Instead of going to the health office, she started down an opposite hallway.

((Almost done with season 4!!! Two episodes left... Stupid math homework. I have to finish homework before watching Supernatural))

Alex started in the direction of her locker. She didn't want to lug around her back pack if she didn't have to. After a minute she reached her locker. She put her back pack in but pulled out a TARDIS key from one of the pockets and shoved it into her jacket pocket. She swung her locker closed, but it echoed down the hallways. Alex winced then quickly started off in another direction, trying to find the TARDIS.

Alex heard a teacher shout as she turned down another hallway. "Get out of my class!" He shouted. Alex quickly walked over and peeked her head around the door just enough to see what was going on. It was the doctor. "Great," she muttered quietly to herself, but still didn't move, wanting to see what happened next.

Alex jumped back from the doorway just in time. She tried to slowly back away, hoping that the doctor wouldn't notice her, but she was doubtful.

"Teachers will believe anything," Alex gave the doctor an awkward smile and rocked back and forth on her heels. "And seriously, how can you expect me to sit through physics class when all the people I know, my friends, my teachers, are in danger?" She asked him and her smile faded

Alex shook her head. "Those people aren't my friends. I'm two years ahead of my grade remember? My friends are freshmen," she paused. "And I guess I'm just worried about them. They don't know what's going on, no one in this school does. They can't do anything about this situation," she said

Alex stood in the doorway, waiting for the doctor. She noticed the teacher looking at her and gave an awkward wave. "Hi, Mrs. Prentice," she said awkwardly and glanced back at the doctor, hoping he would finish this classroom quickly.

"Sorry, uh, he was just leaving," Alex stuttered and pulled the doctor along the hallways before the teacher realised that she should be in class.

"No chance whatsoever," Alex shook her head and started for the basement.

((You're doing great! I got my friend into supernatural and she watched season 1 in two days... XD))

((Oh cool! Sorry I didn't reply sooner, I got out of class and my friend literally made me chase him for my phone... Fun!))

"Yes," she nodded. "The old caretaker 'won' a lottery or something, right?" Alex recalled

Alex let out a small laugh.

"Doctor, what does that thing even do?" Alex asked curiously.

"You can't just look for someone out of place?" She asked and crossed her arms

((You might not like his character... He plays this Jerky cop with a temper, but I still enjoyed the show. It was an amazing performance by David Tennant and Olivia Coleman))

Alex thought for a second. "Makes sense," she shrugged and followed him up the stairs.

Alex put a hand on the wall to steady herself. "Doctor, what's going on?" She shouted

"They're terrified teenagers, they're not gonna listen to a janitor!" She shouted as many students were running into the halls. She thought that maybe they'd listen to her though. Alex have it a shot. She yelled, as loud as she could, "EVERYBODY JUST SHUT UP AND LISTEN!" And hoped it had worked.

Most of the students turned to face her. She had learned a thing or two over the years about getting attention. "Alright," she said a little quieter, but was still shouting so everyone could hear. "This is..." She trailed off and looked at the Doctor, unsure what he was going by at this school

"Alright, this is The Doctor. And that shaking wasn't an earthquake. So, everyone needs to shut up and do whatever he says, because we are all in danger if we don't," Alex said with as much authority as she could, being the youngest person on the floor.

The students looked back and forth between Alex and the Doctor. Alex was leaning against the wall with her arms cross. After a few minutes everyone looked to her. She never joked about stuff like this. "He's telling the truth," was all she said, with a shrug.

Alex looked at the doctor and furrowed her brow. "We're on Mars?!" She asked, confused. Cautiously, she glanced at the crowed of students. "Stay in your classrooms, but be alert of anyone acting strange. And don't do anything stupid!" She shouted and looked at a group of boys she knew would do something stupid.

"It's a high school, and maybe 700-1,000 kids per grade... This'll be a while," she said to him as the students slowly started to go back to their classrooms

"Uh, yeah," Alex said as she followed him. "Hey, Doctor, someone should go tell the teachers what's going on, maybe they can make an announcement. I know where the teachers lounge is, I can go?" She suggested

She ran to the door then turned and around and shot him a quick smile. "Don't worry, I'll be fine," she said and started off down the hallway, pushing past students. The teachers lounge would be on the 2nd floor, and she was on the first floor. Alex made it to the stairs, and started to make her way up them, when someone pushed her up against the wall. "Aliens, you say? Rhinos in spacesuits? What else can you tell me about the 'space police'?" A voice asked. Alex didn't recognise him at all. And why would he even be interested in what she had to say? With a gasp, Alex realised this must be the criminal the doctor was after. She thought about shouting for the doctor, but he was half way across the building. Instead, she just said "what do you want?"
