Anna Faversham (annafaversham) | 124 comments How do you make God laugh? I've a feeling I made him laugh a lot when I packed my bag and went to look after a puppy too young to go into kennels. I had such plans...

Please take a look - despite the virus, various lockdowns, the US election, and the dark nights this really is a wonderful world.

And if you go there quickly you'll see that Hide in Time is reduced to 0.99 until 9th November. Or, of course, if you are a Kindle Unlimited member it's FREE!)

Anna Faversham (annafaversham) | 124 comments I always thought I’d never start a blog. But I did and somewhere near the beginning I made a promise to update anyone who was kind enough to be interested as to what progress I was making with my new book. So this month’s blog post sort of keeps that promise.

https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

And I did answer the question – Is there a villain?
Whatever do you want a villain for? There’s a squirrel. OK, OK, yes there’s a villain.

There’s also the Sage Saying, the Handy Hint and the Jolly Joke – what more could you possibly want? A win in the lottery, even if you don’t do it? Dream on!

Here’s a book to make you dream:

Hide in Time by Anna Faversham

is on sale for 0.99 until Wednesday 5th May. UK and US only (Amazon rule for the Kindle Countdown Deals). Or free on Kindle Unlimited, of course.

A time travel romance with a dash of mystery and humour: How much does our past influence our future? Laura cannot forgive herself and risks her future to heal the heart she has broken.

Anna Faversham (annafaversham) | 124 comments Hide in Time is a time-travel romance.

On your death bed, they say it's not the things you've done that you regret most, but the things you've left undone.

In 1814 Laura misjudges the man she loves and storms off from him only to discover that she's made a terrible mistake. She longs to put it right but finds herself in the 21st century and unable to do so. Or can she?

Laura risks her life to restore happiness to the man she has so badly misjudged and in doing so she frees herself from the destructive regret lingering in her new life. And throughout, love patiently waits for her.

Now 99c/99p until 2nd September

Free on Kindle Unlimited

Anna Faversham (annafaversham) | 124 comments February’s blog takes a look at two more authors’ reasons for writing. Writing takes up an awful lot of time so why do they do it?

There’s also a poem by a Goodreads member and it sure will make you think. Are we all sometimes guilty of this? Can we change? Does giving an orange, banana or choccie bar help? You be the judge.

I’m also asking you to share on the blog your favourite stress reducers.

The link takes you to a place to ponder and share:

And what’s a ‘love that never died’? Hide in Time is a time travel romance about someone who regrets having misjudged the man she loved. Ouch!

Anna Faversham (annafaversham) | 124 comments The Joseph Store

Regular readers of my blog will know I like to chat about not only books but also good ideas for life. The Joseph Store is worth checking out in these difficult times, there's information on the blog. In times of inflation, it saves you money and that’s just for starters.

If you have ideas that help out in times of inflation, uncertainty and rising costs of everything except your income, please join in and leave a comment. And readers, it’s a good idea to check out the blog more than once because April’s blog received 49 comments so it’s worth seeing what others had to say.

Here it is: https://www.goodreads.com/author_blog...

Hide in Time by Anna Faversham

is on sale for 0.99 in US and UK and also FREE on Kindle Unlimited until 7th May. Here’s what a Goodreads reviewer had to say about it:

What a beautifully written book. I instantly fell in love with the characters and cared about what happened to them. I loved the history, the little gems of information which sent me off to research further and the concept of the story. I found it believable even though it’s a work of imagination and fiction. Hide in Time is a must read for all those looking for a well written book in which to lose oneself. Highly recommended.

Anna Faversham (annafaversham) | 124 comments Does Your Life Have a Theme?

Have you ever looked back on your life and seen a theme? I doubt that most of us have. But if you have, I’d love to hear about it.

Here’s where to tell us:

https://www.goodreads.com/author_blog...

If you are a reader, I’d love to know what theme you feel authors never tackle. Or, tell us your favourite theme in books in general or in a single book.

If you are an author, please tell us how you arrived at the theme of one of the books you have written (no links please but do put the title). Here's where to tell us:

There’s also a stress reliever tip for the tough times ahead.

Anna Faversham (annafaversham) | 124 comments Beware the Midnight Train by Anna Faversham 0.99

Is it romantic? Yes - a slow burner. She's wary.

Too slow? No, she's been hurt and she's got a lot of unbelievable problems brewing.

Is it funny? Yes, readers are laughing at the whacky neighbours.

Is there any crime? Yes, in life there is often crime not too far away.

When is the story set? In the 1970s and late Victorian times.

Where is it set? In a quiet English village - well it was quiet until Ellie arrived.

What might you like? The dog - he is an adorable dachshund. And you might also fall in love with Ellie or the vicar.

Vicar! Not a vicar! Well in those days there were a lot of them around. He's also rather nice and if he weren't there, Ellie might have been... sorry, can't say any more.

Is there a villain? Definitely, but initially you might have trouble knowing who is the worst.

So there is some mystery too? Yes. Life's never totally simple. Maybe it's fortunate that we don't know everything. Ellie likes to find out though.

Is there a happy ending? Oh yes!

Why should you buy this book? Because some of it is based on truth and you know what they say - truth is stranger than fiction. And it is only 0.99 until 10th April. Quick!

Beware the Midnight Train

Anna Faversham (annafaversham) | 124 comments From time to time, we stumble across someone who is making a difference in this world of ours. A difference for good. Take a look at my blog here:

https://www.goodreads.com/author_blog...

And you will meet someone who is doing just that. And spiders and other creepy crawlies are helping out too. Take a look at what Chris Horn has to say.

You will also find that one of my time travel books has been reduced to 0.99 in the UK and US. And if you live in the US, you’ll be able to get the AI Audio version for a bargain price as well.

Mistake in Time by Anna Faversham

Mistake in time is a #1 Amazon Best Seller in Time Travel Romance and I hope you will find it worth investigating. 0.99 until June 3rd.
