For each day of December leading up to Christmas, click on the link below to access the RRRC Advent Calendar and see what 'task' has been set for you! (Needless to say, there are 24 tasks hidden behind doors on the calendar.)

Advent calendar

Some tasks involve reading but some are things for you to do at home, on GR or with us. Books can be any length - there is no page minimum. 'Tis the season' so books that fit these festivities (Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa) are the aim, but are not a rule.

Tasks can only be accessed once the day has commenced. If you miss a day, you can go backwards, but you can't see tasks ahead of you.

Tasks open at midnight of the new day in your timezone.

Don't worry if you don't finish each task each day - you have the whole of December to finish your tasks.

Rules
* there is no minimum page requirement
* you can only see each day's task once it hits 12.00am in your timezone
* you have the whole month of December to complete your 24 tasks
* starts on 1 December in your timezone

🎄14. The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires (Read a book with bright colors on the cover)

🎄15. A tricky one as I have most books by my favourite authors already listed... But I went through a bunch of my top authors and found Hamilton's Battalion: A Trio of Romances (with both Alyssa Cole and Courtney Milan - plus Rose Lerner, who I haven't read yet) AND A Gentleman Never Tells (there's an Essex Sisters novella!?) - Dec 15/20 (Add a book to your TBR by one of your favorite authors.)

🎄16. Think of England by KJ Charles - Dec 26/20 (Read a book with yellow, red, or green on the cover)

🎄17. A Girl Like Her by Talia Hibbert - Dec 27/20 (Read a book with an MC who works in retail or that is set in Europe [UK counts])

🎄18. Done with a photo later on! (In this thread, post a picture or a short sentence telling us what the holiday season means to you)

🎄19. Tikka Chance on Me by Suleikha Snyder - Dec 22/20 (Read a book set in a small community, town or village)

🎄20. Damaged Goods by Talia Hibbert - Dec 28/20 (Read a book set with family or friends, or a book you want to curl up with in front of a fire) Definitely the curl-up-with type of book, with this seaside second-chance romance

🎄21. I got into my festive antlers & reindeer jingle bell necklace for holiday trivia! - Dec 22/20 (Wear an ugly sweater or item of clothing today)

🎄22. I just read A Maiden Lane Christmas Special by Elizabeth Hoyt and it was such a nice return to one of my very favourite series! I am tempted to re-read the series now (Read a short Christmas story)

23. Read a book with something knitted on the cover.

24. Read a longer book over the rest of the break

For members in the earlier zones, please don't name your tasks, just post your books that met the requirements. You should still be able to see the task you opened on your calendar when you click back on the link... (I hope)

This means those members in the later time-zones won't have their task revealed early.
