So how did you get along with months book?
For me this just didn’t work. I’m not entirely sure what was missing, I wasn’t entirely pulled into the story line and I wasn’t captivated by the characters. I think for such a short book the characters seem to spread far and wide, I didn’t latch onto to anyone or want to read more of most of them.
I found myself not really wanting to pick this book up half way through so I just didn’t continue. It wasn’t for me and that’s ok, I did enjoy how the pace of the story changed with events such as Francis Lorca’s death, the sentences became short, punchy and harsh.

I did like how the times were the names of chapters, this did give it some sense of time and demonstrated how things can change, your future and journey of life can change in a very brief period of time.... both negative and positive and brings with it new challenges and adventures and possibilities.
Maybe this book would do better as a film?
Happy reading :)
