Maybe it's a book you read as a child, or maybe a book that has a setting or time period that makes you feel nostalgic. What book gives you those nostalgic feelings?

Rita Wright | 10 comments I feel a Nancy Drew book book just might be in order here. I loved them so much as a kid. I’d check out a bunch at a time from the library.

Robynne Lozier I'm not sure I can go back and read a childhood book. Many of my favourite childhood books are still NOT available as E-books. And my physical copies are long since lost or sold.

I tried some of Enid Blytons school stories and I cannot even get through those any more - I used to LOVE them when I was a little girl. It seems I have outgrown my childhood.

I also loved Nancy Drew and Trixie Belden as a child, but again, the odd one I have tried to re-read in the last year or two, I just cant. I have outgrown them as well.

They all seem to be too - well - simplistic is not the right word, but they were never set in any kind of REALITY, and I think I need more realistic stories these days.

Not sure what that says about me, but that is what I am thinking...

I'll keep looking.
