Todd Hosea Tom Clancy, Craig Thomas, and Michael Crichton were strong influences for this modern day techno-thriller with a sci-fi twist. How would the world react if an alien spacecraft crashed inside North Korea - the Hermit Kingdom? In the hands of a tyrannical dictator, such technology could upset the world's balance of power and trigger an arms race like no other. The only question is, who will get to it first?

Steal the Reaper is a fast-paced thriller full of military action, suspense, and engaging characters. It is free on Kindle Unlimited. Read an excerpt on Amazon and see if this is the next spy thriller to add to your bookshelf. https://www.amazon.com/Steal-Reaper-T...

How about providing a brief sample snipped from a page of the book? So people can get a sense of the writing style?

Todd Hosea Good idea, Feliks! Here's a brief snippet from the book where the main character, Captain Ava Tan, is recruited to infiltrate North Korea and steal the Reaper - a sleek spacecraft hidden within the wreckage.

“We have to make it look like we’re not involved,” Drake explained. “The first thing the Chinese and Russians are going to see after the mothership explodes is you streaking toward Japan. If the Japanese shoot you down and the ship appears lost, no one can point fingers.”

“Plausible deniability?”

Sizemore pointed his finger at her like a pistol. “Bingo.”

“Once we fake your demise,” Garza continued, “you’ll dive straight for the Sea of Japan and pilot the submerged Reaper to a remote location where you will turn it over to us.”

“And what if things go south before I can get airborne? Any plan for extraction?”

Sizemore shook his head. “In-extremis options are pretty much nil, I’m afraid. North Korea is already on high alert, and any overt attempt to extract you would be taken as an act of war.”

“You have two options: hike out or spend the dollar,” Garza said, callously referring to Cold War days when pilots were given a fake silver dollar with a poison-dipped pin hidden inside. “Pull the pin and touch the skin for instant death.”

Before Ava could picture that grim thought in her mind, Sizemore was quick to add, “None of that will be necessary, of course, because this plan is going to work. All we need is one courageous pilot.”

You mean, one really naïve and stupid pilot, Ava scoffed.

An uneasy silence followed as Ava stared blankly at the reconnaissance images. There were a million ways this thing could go bad, and all ended with her being captured, tortured, and served a gruesome death while the whole world watched.

Nice.

I think I'll ask any author who posts, if they would care to add this feature to their announcements.

I can't see that it would do any harm; and might certainly attract new readers. After all, Ama$on and Google both offer this same technique.
