Harry Colfer Hi Aussie Lovers,

I hope you had a merry and safe Christmas. I'm a paramedic still working in Brisbane, Australia, and I’ve just released my debut novel, Dead Regular.

To be quite honest, I think I took Mark Twain's advice of 'write what you know' far too literally as my book is a murder mystery based around a Brisbane paramedic. Jono believes a serial killer is bumping off the city's regular time-wasting patients and so it’s not only full of suspense, but also dark ambo humour. Be warned, some scenes are not for the faint hearted, but there are many laugh-out-loud moments due to the banter. One reader said it was "a far more realistic portrayal of life as a paramedic than anything else on the page or screen"... it fair made me blush!

Anyway, I'd love to know what you think, so please check it out, along with my series of eBook short stories featuring the same characters Collection 1: The First Twelve Tales.

Here's hoping 2021 shows some improvement...

Harry

I live in the Midwest of West Australia, and I'm a nurse working primarily in Palliative Care (though I do some surgical and medical as well. Just had pop in and say g'day! Love thrillers and dark humour, so I will check out your book!

G'day Angela, many thanks! I'm getting a very good response from paramedics and nurses alike, although there is one triage nurse character who cops some stick! I had to reflect the ancient ambo-versus-triage battle lines!

I just bought your Collection 1 The First Twelve Tales (Ambo Tales From The Frontline) by Harry Colfer . I'm currently reading a horror anthology but this is next on my TBR pile.

I'm looking forward to reading it. Now I have both this and Dead Regular by Harry Colfer on my TBR pile.
I'm betting you've seen a few screwy things ;-)

Yep. My face in the wing mirror when Maccas says I can’t order ice cream at 2:00AM... 😉

What is their problem? Perfectly good time for a soft serve. Try the M&M McFlurry - yummy ;-)
