For future books, I'd recommend Travelling Home: Essays on Islam in Europe by Sheikh Abdal Hakim Murad or I Refuse to Condemn, edited by Dr Asim Qureshi. Both have been published this year and provide good commentary on recent experiences as Muslims in the West.
Fiqh of Social Media: Timeless Islamic Principles for Navigating the Digital Age was only published a few days ago and has also been added to my list.
Being organised, so I don't forget to do this in Jan. So doing it early. Here is our book choice for January. I know many of us have already read this groundbreaking book! Just in case you haven't then please do read it. I've read it twice. Before I cancelled my Netflix subscription ( I cancelled because I did not want to support a company that produces Islamaphobic movies like Cuties it also normalises the sexualisation of children,) I did watch a documentary by a brother in America exploring the life of Malcolm X and who shot him, well worth watching. Sincere duas from your sister Farhat
