Penelope | 40 comments No. 3. Riptides by Kirsten Alexander. Good mystery and very satisfactory outcome. Set in Brisbane in 1974/5 which is very familiar territory for me. 4 stars

I bought this book for my granddaugter to show her some of our Australian trees. It is a lovely edition with a simple but sound explanation of each tree and beautifully illustrated by Alicia Rogerson.

Delightfully written account of three wonderful months working as WOOFERS in different locations in Italy. 4 stars
