Where are you? Amazon US has it, paperback (new and used), audio, and kindle - all lieferbar right away.

Danke Christiane, laut geniallokal wäre es innerhalb 2 Wochen verfügbar aber die Dame meinte sie könne es nur vorbestellen. Naja, gut zu wissen, dass es noch eine Amazon Alternative gibt wenn ich mal was schnell brauche.

I'm not sure how to rate it yet. My general feeling is that it clearly is quite a philosophical book with lots of references (e.g. the greek myths) but that I didn't necessarily "get" it while reading, I feel like I now need to read a book analysing so that I know what I should have got from it. That probably says more about me than about the book though...
I read the book in German and some reviewers have said it's an easy read. The language was not over complex on the whole and the sentences also, one thing that got me was that the word "obgleich / obschon" was used by Faber so often, almost once per page. In standard German "obwohl" is (now) more common. I assume this was a device , but as I'm not a native speaker Im not sure. I'd also be interested in whether this was translated as "although" which probably would have stood out less for me, or whether it was also "noticeable" in English as a tic.
