Books for Change discussion

There are many amazing books which are converted into movies, but some are left out. Is there a book you'd like to have a movie for? Tell us here!
( I am not particularly in favor of people watching movies over reading the books, but still, we all like to see our favorite books on the big screen)

BUT THEY WOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO CAPTURE IT.

I'm still hopelessly waiting for the City of Ashes movie. I know a lot of people hated the City of Bones movie but I actually kinda liked it. It wasn't that bad. At least far better than the Percy Jackson movies. I'm also dying for The Infernal Devices show to come out. I read it on some website that BBC is planning on adapting it into a TV show.

I would actually like HP and the Cursed Child to be made into a movie. The play was never staged in my country, so I'd like to see a movie adaptation.

I would LOVE On the Come Up to be a movie. It's amazing.

Omg yess! I remember when the book came out, I used to check everyday if there was any news about the cursed child movie.

It's tough because I've seen the play and it wouldn't translate well into a movie but more people could see it if it were a movie :/ A lot of the reason why the play is so amazing is because you can see the dimensions on the stage and all the magic is done in front of you with no special effects, so it would be hard to make it into a movie

I want Article 5 or If You Come Softly to be made into a movie

They announced they're making movies for the Keeper of the Lost Cities and I've been waiting for them to come out!! The books will probably be better but it would still be cool to see all the characters and powers on screen!
