So I know that TOG is done but we still have The World Of Throne Of Glass coming, so Updates for that will be here!
Sarah has also said this world has plenty of other stories to tell, so it may not be the end of us seeing Erilea😆

Ah, I want to read that book so bad! Imagine... stories about what happens to our beloved characters after the war, more background info on the world, more explanation on the wyrdmarks and stuff... just, wow! 🤍

Dani | 3 comments So this may be the wrong place for this but I couldn’t figure out where to put it...

BUT
I’ve just finished the throne of glass series and I have one question.

When Aelin is falling through the worlds/time when sealing the gate/ward keys she says that she sees a male who sees her and slows her down.

IS THIS RHYSLAND??????

Ava (avasbooks) | 3 comments I'd give anything to read ToG for the first time again

message 10: by Allyson (new)

Allyson | 22 comments I must say that book seems to have gone nowhere in the last however many years and if SJM actually finishes it I'll be surprised.

The sad thing is I can't remember my reactions to all of it the first time I read it, or what my thoughts on it were, and it makes me so sad. I miss these characters😭😭

The hope is Sarah did mention this book last year in a CC interview. So it isn’t completely scrapped. She said it’s taking her longer than expected bc she really ends to make it detailed and immersive and the best it can be. I’m like 99% sure we’ll be able to read it someday lmao

Me too, 99% sure that we will, but that 1%...

message 14: by Mahi (new)

Mahi (mahib) | 14 comments It's been a while since I've read TOG, I'd be surprised if I even remembered much about the plot lol

message 15: by Ward (new)

Ward (wardzr) | 31 comments Omg I cant wait for her to conect all of the books.

☀︎El In Oz☀︎ (elinoz) | 724 comments Mod
Same 😭
I feel like theoretically it would happen during the ACOTAR finale since it’s the series with the most references to a multiverse of sorts

message 17: by Emily (new)

Emily | 26 comments I can’t wait for her to connect the books either.
I think I read somewhere that she wouldn’t do a cross over (not completely sure) but still excited to see how the series connect!
Does anyone have any theories?

A crossover would be so cool! Now that I've read ACOTAR and CC, I love that KoA scene even more - so a full book? Yes please.

And like I'm up for action but I've said this before and I'll say it again - once a series action and angst is over, we NEED more domestic and just... fluff content? Like everyone calls ACOSF shit but I think it's such a cool thing that she wrote a book about her characters just being happy... a crossover version of that? I get a feeling it'll make me cry 3

☀︎El In Oz☀︎ (elinoz) | 724 comments Mod
Yeah!!! Really I just want a manorial short story :(((

Fray MK (kris0mk) | 11 comments In 2016 (I think) was announced that a show would be produced and than nothing. Do we know anything about this?

message 24: by Lisa (new)

Lisa | 22 comments I don't know the story behind it but that was cancelled I believe. For now there isn't any news about there potentially being a TOG tv show unfortunately. We are getting a ACOTAR show tho!

message 25: by Fray (new)

Fray MK (kris0mk) | 11 comments I haven't read ACOTAR and I'm not sure I will. I will hope for ToG show someday

message 26: by Lisa (new)

Lisa | 22 comments I do too! Throne of Glass is my all time favoriete book series. Can I ask why you're not sure you'll be reading ACOTAR?

message 27: by Fray (new)

Fray MK (kris0mk) | 11 comments I discovered both books on tiktok, I only saw ToG a few times and ACOTAR all the time and I don't really like all the great things they say. Like a lot of people like it because it's a lot spicy and I don't really enjoy that. Most of the time the protagonist is potrayed as a damsel in distress in need of a charming prince.
I don't know, based of what I heard so far I don't feel the right vibe

Forgot to mention this but the new TOG covers came out on Valentine’s Day! They will now likely be found in the adult fantasy section at book stores ✨

Eunice Giselle (euniceg) | 4 comments Hi! I’m new in this world of Sarah J Maas, I read ToG because my best friend is really into it and she knows I was a reader for a long time but I’m a mom so I didn’t have the time and lose track, but I read it and it was super! Remind me of that intense emotion when you’re reading something so AAA haha. I just order the entire books with the past covers books (the ones she is in the whole cover so cool) and I have ordered acotar as well, thank you for this space. <3

Ps. I’m a spanish speaker so sorry if my english is a little weird.

message 30: by Marina (new)

Marina Vidal-Gibbons | 2 comments Hi all, I finished all current available ACOTAR books and LOVED them. I’m obsessed and can’t wait for the next book. In the meantime I started TOG and was so excited about it, but I am 3/4 of the way and I am struggling so much with it. She’s so spoiled and childish. I’m about to quit please tell me it gets better. What am I missing, I REALLY want to love it. Help.

message 31: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Frahm | 2 comments *GASP* NO she's not spoiled at all!! If you loved ACOTAR you will love TOG (maybe even more). I was uncertain at first too. It's a new world, new characters, new story. I promise you that you will love it. The first book you don't really know what's going on, just hang tight. Things are not as they seem. I'm not going to give away what you are missing, it spoils it. It is AMAZING and my favorite series!! I highly recommend reading it in the order below for the biggest impact. When you read Assassin's Blade, you will understand everything and your opinion will change.
For getting the most emotional engagement with the story, this is the recommended reading order.

Throne of Glass
Crown of Midnight
The Assassin’s Blade
Heir of Fire
Queen of Shadows
Empire of Storms* (Tandem Read with TOD) link here https://throneofglass.fandom.com/f/p/...
Tower of Dawn* (Tandem Read with EOS)
Kingdom of Ash
