I am about 70 pages in and am at the part where Ryle literally came pounding on her door basically persuading/guilting Lily into sex after she already told him no more than once and the dummy gives in!! I have never been so mad and now idk that I want to finish this book because my god if it is going to romanticize rape then I want nothing to do with it.

It doesn't romanticize rape, but it is not your usual romantic reading. It is not a romance book. I cried so hard with it!

I mean I am used to her writing and darker romances do not surprise me. i am just hoping this isn't a girl falling in love with a guy who is a narcissist and who wants complete control and is oblivious to it.

I can't say anything cuz it would spoil the book for you! Just keep reading! But you'll get frustrated with Lily for a while

Oh I am already frustrated haha I am almost 200 pages in (been distracted by my Sims 4 hahaha) but, so far I cannot stand Ryle. He is so manipulative and conceded.

At first I REALLY loved Ryle until he hit her and lied about it to Alyssa. I feel like she should’ve left him sooner but hey that’s an outsiders perspective. I love love loved Atlas though, the way she portrayed him in the book was very good.

To be honest I even felt a bit scared for Lily when he pushed her down the stairs. And then she had his baby man I felt bad for her.

no. my mental health will never be the same. i threw this across the room twice and cried my eyes out. honestly i wish i could throw ryle down the stairs

Haha to be honest I would’ve hit him back too but hey we’re different people and Lily was just sensitive I guess.

It views a different perspective one you have to have an open mind about

but this book is truly beautiful💕

Soo many ppl put this out there as a romance book when it really isn't. Like the title makes it seem like it's romantic, but only those who finished the book actually understands what it means.

But like I think the writing was kinda mid and the book was definitely overhyped. Also I’m so confused as to what part supposedly made people cry?!? The reason I would’ve cried is because how bad the book is
