Cheryl Olson (girlsmama) | 694 comments So for this challenge, this hearkens back to the days when my kids were little. I chose a different character trait that we would be focusing on to develop and talk about with them each month. We worked from the book Achieving True Success: How To Build Character As A Family and did fun family activities to support the ideas presented in the book. So I thought it could be fun to make a reading challenge out of it.

For this reading challenge you want to read a book that will focus in on the word of the month. So for example if your personal Focus in January is organization, you might read an organizational book. Or if you want it to be a fiction book , then look to find out what the main focus is for the main character and so on for each month.

I hope that you have fun with it. Your tracker is here-https://www.goodreads.com/challenges/...

And here is the list for the year-

January- Focus

February- Love

March- Joy

April- Sacrifice

May- Bravery

June- Creativity

July-Grace

August- Redemption

September- Teachable

October- Determined

November-Thankful
