Can I propose A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams, as I am reading a travelogue cum biography of alcoholic American writers at the moment, The Trip to Echo Spring by Olivia Laing, and I have not read this play. (The Laing book is seeking to explore the link between alcohol and creativity, and is more interesting than my summary!)
