I'd definitely say McEwan isn't for everyone and if choosing one of his titles from the 80s might have gone for "The Comfort of Strangers" myself. Hope you get something from the read you've chosen, though.

Well I might still read these 2 this year, but it turns out [book:Indigo (which I was reading for a read the world group) was published in 92, so using that one now :)


I'm starting Excellent Women by Barbara Pym published 1952, which is the year I was born. Yeah, I'm getting old- I saw President Kennedy when I was a kid.
This will be my final (12th) book for the challenge- I'm 2/3 through my 11th scavenger hunt book.
