I'm quite a slow reader, so...

But I'm trying to read faster. The main issue is that I read just for half hour or one hour before bed. My parents don't let me read much during daytime because they want me to study. They think I read too much, so they've limited my reading time :(

:D o y i n :D (CURRENTLY OBSESSED WITH AOT iykyk) Anushka Same i dont really read in the day light

:D o y i n :D (CURRENTLY OBSESSED WITH AOT iykyk) Week - about 2 to 3 books a week hopefully
Month- 10 books is always my goal
Year- Wow I dont keep track but i strive for about 100- 200 books
I always read at night sometimes i will read from 9-12 lol :)

Sara Narro R. (bookishcookies_) I read about one or two books a week, depending in how much schoolwork I have or if I´m interested in reading. In a month I read about 5 or 6, also depends a lot on my mood. And in a year I read about 40 or 45, but I´m trying to reach 60 this year!

message 7: by Rashi (new)

Rashi | 96 comments For me it mostly depends on my mood, the book and of course 'the exam schedule'.
Sometimes i do 6-9 books a month, sometimes 1-3, it's never been 0 though

message 8: by Nat (new)

Nat (simply_bookish) It depends on how busy I am, what type of book I’m reading, and whether I like it or not. For example, I can fly through YA books in like a day but classics sometimes take me weeks. And if I’m not enjoying the book it’s sooo hard to get through.

message 9: by Carla (new)

Carla Lees i read about two to three books per week and roughly 10-15 books a month

message 10: by Sofia (new)

Sofia I generally read about 2 books a week, so about 8 - 10 books a month.

my parents sort of doing the same, my mom be like " You need to stop reading"
If you read consistently you get faster over time. I used to be pretty slow but now I read at a good speed.

My parents like the fact that I enjoy reading. They just want me to focus on other things and not read so much.

message 13: by Sofia (new)

Sofia I read about 1-2 books per week, but it really depends on how busy I am.

message 14: by peony (new)

peony (willh3r0nd4le) Week: It can honestly depend on the length of the book but typically I’ll read about 5 books a week

Month: I try to read at least 15-20 books a month

Year: I just started tracking my yearly reads so I’m not sure

message 15: by kbaxter324 (new)

kbaxter324 | 7 comments When I was in fifth grade I used to read 3 books like a day. But now I kinda have a hard time finding time to read. So like 1 a week

message 16: by Lorelei (new)

Lorelei (literarylitanies) | 66 comments Week - 3 - 5
Month - Divide the number of days in that month in half (so, 15 for April)
Year - I was going for 100, but I've already read 92....

message 17: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (bananakin89) I read 2 to 3 books per month, I try for at least an hour a day but 2 is ideal!

message 18: by ☆ Emma ☆ (new)

☆ Emma ☆ (emmaahoy) I read 10 to 15 books per months, depends on my mood and if I have exams/homeworks

message 19: by StardustReader (new)

StardustReader (infinitythoughts) I read at least one book everyday.
But that depends on the book size and my mood.

at least 25 books every month.

Anna Kate (Taylors Version) | 15 comments Week- I try to read at least 1 per week, sometimes I can’t if I’m in a reading slump, and then at most 2-3
Month- I try to read between 10-13 books a month
Year- I’ve read 43 books this year, and my goals 100

message 21: by frannie (new)

frannie Week- Usually 1 per week
Month - around 5?
Year - I haven't really kept track for long enough but I want to say around 40?
However, these numbers change a lot depending on my mental health, which has actually not been the greatest for the last couple months

message 22: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie (thedaylightreader) | 41 comments I usually read at least 1 book a week and around 10 books a month!

legendofthe3divas | 26 comments Fast reader here. I can usually finish a book in 3 days (depending on these variables: chapter length and how much I'm interested in said book). I can usually finish about 2-3 books in a month
