Questions or problems with completed task posts will be posted here.

If you have questions about your points on the Readerboard:

1. Make sure that the Readerboard has been updated through the post that you are concerned about.
2. Please check your math.
3. Check to see if one of your posts is listed in this thread with a question. If so, please make a NEW POST in the Completed tasks thread to clear up the question. DO NOT go back and edit the original post. I will not go backwards in the completed task thread to pick up points.
4. To avoid further questions/problems, please refer to the TASK DESCRIPTIONS and the POSTING REQUIREMENTS.

Thank you for helping keep the record keeping for the challenge as manageable as possible

The Goodreads record shows that the book was first published in 2012. You will need to get the record corrected to show that the book was published in 1711 to claim a GO ticket for this.

Points have been awarded for the task.

The blurb about the book makes a point of saying:
But as a plague spreads, Coney Island is placed under quarantine. The gang at Magruder’s finds that a missing mother is the least of their problems, as the once-glamorous resort town is abandoned to the freaks, anarchists, and madmen.

** Not a Children's or YA book ** (less)

OK, I just reviewed the rules. It's not on the AR Book Finder, and it is on the Google Doc - line 33, plus the main page publisher blurb saying not a Children's or YA book.

You'll need to repost, including the line # of the verification.

The main page publisher blurb is not relevant - it is listed with a main page genre of Childrens.

Correct - we never go back to look at old posts. To preserve your links and formatting, go to your old post, click "edit" at the bottom, copy the post from that window, then paste that into a new window and make your edits.

To claim credit for a group read, you must post in the discussion thread a comment "about the contents of the book or your reaction to the book after you have read the book."

This is a discussion thread, and the comment must be specific to the book, and something that other readers can discuss along with you. A generic sentence, that could just as well apply to any book, doesn't meet the requirements of this task.

For instance, why do you believe this book is a "great classic" and will "always stand the test of time"?

Just an FYI - no need to repost. We do not use kindle page numbers in the SRC. In this case, your book has a paperback edition with 236 pages, so the book still fits the task - but you should be careful in the future to look at the rules regarding page numbers - see the Rules of the Challenge:
"If you read an ebook, or audiobook use the page count for the mass market paperback if one exists. If there is no mass market paperback edition, use the paperback edition and if no paperback is available use the hardcover edition."

A verification as not really a childrens book means that the genre is overridden and the book can be used.

In future, please remember to include the PAGE of the list on which your book is found. Page # is required, because it's easier to navigate to the correct page than to get to a number on the list.

You posted Welcome Me to Willoughby Close, which only shows as having a kindle edition. If there is a paper edition, you can ask a librarian to add it or to combine the paper edition with the kindle. If there is only a kindle edition, you will have to have it verified for length in the ebook verification thread.

The top MMPB of 1984 has 328 pages, which does not fit the task requirements.

There seems to be a discrepancy in my points total on the Readerboard. My total is 160 but the reader board says 180.

These are the tasks I have claimed so far (up to post 450 on the Readerboard):
