Hi there readers!
It's a fact that we all have huge TBR piles that never seem to get any smaller.

That's why we have a challenge for you that'll help you tackle that long, long list. We call it the TBR Mountain Crusher Challenge!

Here's what you need to know:

For this challenge, you have to sign up with 21 books from your TBR arranged like this in the form of a mountain:

#2 #3
#4 #5 #6
#7 #8 #9 #10
#11 #12 #13 #14 #15
#16 #17 #18 #19 #20 #21

The priority decreases as you go down the mountain. That means, book #1 is top priority and book #21 is at least priority. You have to read as many books as you can from the mountain within the period of one month. If you finish the whole mountain before the month ends, you are allowed to create another mountain with 21 books. The points will be given as follows:

For every book read, the no. of pages will determine the points:
1-100 : 1
100-200: 2
200-300 : 3
300-400 : 4
400-500 : 5
500-600 : 6
600-700 : 7
700-800 : 8
800-900 : 9
900+ : 10

Bonus points:
#1 priority book completed: +3 points
Line 2 of mountain completed: +4 points
Line 3 of mountain completed: +5 points
Line 4 of mountain completed: +6 points
Line 5 of mountain completed: +7 points
Line 6 of mountain completed: +8 points

Full mountain completed: x5 points

If you make a second mountain after completing the first, then following are bonus points for mountain 2: (Page points remain the same.)

#1 priority book completed: +5 points
Line 2 of mountain completed: +6 points
Line 3 of mountain completed: +7 points
Line 4 of mountain completed: +8 points
Line 5 of mountain completed: +9 points
Line 6 of mountain completed: +10 points

Full mountain completed: x8 points

Also,
If a book is the BOTM of our group: x2 points for the book
If you buddy read a book within our group: x2 points for the book
If a book is reviewed: +5 points for the book
The above applies to books in mountain 1 as well as in mountain 2.

The winner is the participant with the highest points.

Note: You can also log in books that are not a part of your mountain. Those books would be counted for page points only.

i really wanna join...but my boards are in may... and my freaking school hasn't told us when pre boards are maybe it'll be in mid march.... god i hate it when I can't read cause i gotta study....

No problem, I understand. I too hate it when studies come in between my reading, but sadly can't do anything about it :/
You can still join and if you find time to read, you can. If you don't, thats okay :) But you can still create your TBR mountain and join us :D
