buddy read with the wonderful Buddy Reads group and my dearest Karen!

ooo this book! i loved the Mayan mythology and magic, and the writing style grew on me, despite the strange storytelling style. i couldn't help but love the protagonist and her strong and determined personality, and the romance was sweet and touching.

but that ending?? sorry??

(not my greatest review ahah, but i had no energy🤷‍♀️)

I have yet to write a review argh I still think about this book's ending !

Aw thanks Karen! And yeah, that ending was quite something!

Will you be reading Red Rising or Lore first? I wanting to read Red Rising first but if you want to read Lore first we can do that:)
