message 5: by Jynx (new)

Jynx (jynxed) hunger games and ACOTAR nothing I have read can top these I have left many series in between because they got boring like twilight, throne of glass, pretty little liars, percy Jackson etc.. maybe I am not a big fantasy fan

Oh man I love the Wrath and the dawn. It tops my fantasy romance list. It's sooo good. <3
Love we hunt the flame also. Read it this year and fell in love with Nasir .

message 9: by BiBookDemon (new)

BiBookDemon Right now it's The Mortal Instruments/The Infernal Devices/The Eldest Curses/The Dark Artifices/The Last Hours (I consider them all connected) but once the second book of Legendborn comes out (depending on if it's at least as good as the first book) it will be my favorite series.

message 10: by Arundhati (new)

Arundhati | 22 comments I dropped Legendborn midway because it was getting too good and there was no news of when the second book will come out and I just didn't want to torture myself the wait. So I am gonna pick it up as soon as the second one drops.

message 11: by BiBookDemon (new)

BiBookDemon That is such a good idea...cause like, you DO NOT want to experience what I experienced. So I finish the book, and I think there's a second one, so I research it. And I find out that there. Is. Not. I pretty much died that day. Rip me. I was so crushed, though. I mean...that stupid cliffhanger!!! *starts muttering about how much this book hurt me*

message 12: by Arundhati (new)

Arundhati | 22 comments Lol. Looks like I dodged a bullet. The moment I started falling for Sel..I was like NO, I need to know when the second book is coming out. Hope it comes soon for all our sake.

message 13: by Arundhati (new)

Arundhati | 22 comments You know the same goes for The Infernal Devices. I had to stop at the second book because I knew I was gonna get my heart broken. I am team Jem. Actually I pretty much wanted Will and Jem together. I hardly cared for Tessa. I would say, if there is a series which got a love triangle right then it is TID.

message 14: by BiBookDemon (new)

BiBookDemon Omg, yes. Like, I used to be team Will and still sorta am....but I ship Will and Jem more than Will and Tessa now...thank goodness I'm not the only one!!!

message 15: by Arundhati (new)

Arundhati | 22 comments I loved the relation Will and Jem had..it's just so pure. I thought I am the only one who felt that way <3 Tessa was fine but why does she deserve both? She wasn't that amazing. Ugh. This is my general feeling for love triangles lol.

message 16: by BiBookDemon (new)

BiBookDemon Right?! And I do really like Tessa (no offense), but Will and Jem were made for each other. <3

message 17: by Raynah (new)

Raynah I adore The Raven Cycle! I need to give it a reread

message 18: by g.vee (new)

message 20: by Arundhati (new)

Arundhati | 22 comments Ya Mango seems like it. I have never been this happy to dnf a book. lol. I will pick it up once the series is completed. :)

Right there ith you. Haven't read Harry Potter neither have any interest reading it. 😕

message 27: by iminyourwallllls (new)

iminyourwallllls | 37 comments Harry Potter is DEFINITELY my favorite, although I don't like JKR. Other series are Keeper of the Lost Cities, Legendborn, the Hunger Games, and Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children (the first trilogy only -- the second one sucked)

message 28: by Uzair (new)

Uzair Ender's Game has to be the best sci-fi I've ever read. The logical explanations for the made up goodys , the dynamics between the characters , different teams , and their behind the scenes officers as well as the final plot twist make it a book to remeber.

Its that much more of a shame that the sequels are so bad :(

message 29: by maya (new)

maya rajesh (mayarrajesh) | 37 comments Shadowhunter Chronicles, Princess Diaries, (for some reason I do not get the KOTLC hype: it's just Harry Potter plagiarised; book 1 at least), Lunar Chronicles, Throne of Glass, Harry Potter (the books not all the controversy on JKR) Percy Jackson, Grishaverse—okay, I could go on and on!

message 30: by Anna (new)

Anna Moynihan | 14 comments All of the Grishaverse, seven sisters by Lucinda Riley, Throne of Glass, Hunger Games, The sisterhood of the travelling pants.

Folk of the air trilogy!

message 34: by Eve L (new)

Eve L | 315 comments I have too many but right now it’s Throne of Glass then Children of Blood and Bone then The Hunger Games then the Lunar Chronicles and then the other ones I forgot about.

message 35: by Ariana (new)

Ariana Most are on my profile

message 36: by Bookworm (new)

Bookworm | 31 comments The Infernal Devices, all Rick Riordan books, all Marissa Mayer books, the whole Grishaverse, The Hunger Games, Harry Potter (though I really don't like JKR), The Diabolic trilogy!!! The Folk of The Air trilogy, the Legend series, the Caraval trilogy aaaaaaand so many more :)

T ✩ Handmaiden Of Amidala (tarria) Harry Potter >>> everything else, after that comes the Hunger Games, Saints and Misfits duology, Princess Academy trilogy, the ongoing Tokyo Ever After books and maybe Throne of Glass, but I haven't finished the series yet, and possibly Divergent (excepting Allegiant).

Honestly this list is shorter than I expected, probably because these days I read a lot more standalones, or don't care enough to finish a series.

em 💌💐 | 105 comments The selection even though I haven’t finished it I want to so badddd

message 40: by beau (new)

beau | 9 comments ok do two books count???? cuz inheritance games/hawthorne legacy was pretty dang good.

but cmon harry potter is freaking legendary and has a place in my heart if primarily for nostalgia. the world building, characterisation and plot construction is literally breathtaking (SO many links/hints right from the first book!). the further into the world of harry potter you trespass, the more you learn + understand… the better it gets.

gosh it’s about time i reread, i think.. :)

message 41: by beau (new)

beau | 9 comments I ALMOST FORGOT ABOUT FABLE 😭😭😭😭 fable & namesake have a permanent residence in my heart. gosh the way it made me feel— my book hangover was so severe and i had nothing to mitigate the pain as i was out on holiday with no other books with me.
