Ciara (ciarabutler) | 6 comments Hi everyone my name is Ciara and I am from Co. Tipperary. It is nice to see an Irish group on goodreads. I like reading different kinds of books. I mostly like Biographies, YA, Catholic books and Clean Fiction. I am currently reading The Dahlmanac Fun Facts and Jokes by Roald Dahl, The Diary of a Country Priest by Georges Bernanos, Finding God in Times of Stress by Antonio Ritaccio, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling, Saint John Vianney Patron Saint of Parish Priests by Bob Lord, Penny Lord, Ignatius Catholic Study Bible: New Testament (Ignatius Catholic Study Bible) by Anonymous, Scott Hahn (Editor), Curtis Mitch (Editor), Women Who Think Too Much: How To Break Free Of Overthinking And Reclaim Your Life by Susan Nolen-Hoeksema and Militant: Resurrecting Authentic Catholicism by Michael Voris. Some of these books I am reading for a long time and take a break from them others I read quicker. I am starting to get into comics too. I am reading book I couldn't or wouldn't read as a child as I had no interest in reading when I was a child but about 10 years ago in my 20's I read Susan Boyle the woman I was born to be my story by Susan Boyle and Donal's mountain how one son inspired a nation by Fionnbar walsh and I loved these books and they got me into reading

Pam Skelton | 7 comments Hi Ciara, Welcome to the Irish group. I was interested to see that you are from Tippeary. My grandmother came from county Tipperary and lived in a small townland called ISLANDS which is halfway between Mullinahone and Ballingarry. My book FIRST TO GO tells of her life story. As you are interested in biographies you might like to take a look at it,. It is on Amazon where you can use the "Look Inside" feature to read some of it to see if you like it. It tells of her emigration to USA in 1898 but also her life before that in Ireland and then follows her for the rest of her life. I hope you will like it,. With best wishes. Pam Skelton author.
