You can jump into Volume 0 anytime you want. It's mostly a flashback that talks about how Okkotsu (the second year that is absent for the Good Will Event) got involved with jujutsu sorcerers. There may be spoilers (because it does involve Geto), but I'm currently up to volume 8 and it hasn't really spoiled anything yet.

I haven't read it yetttt, I think it's a bit overhyped? it's always trending on twitter. I might read it after everyone stopped talking about it. I don't want to make my expectations so high and be disappointed :(

It can be a little hard to grasp certain parts (it took me a while to understand cursed energy) but you can always drop it if you don't care for it.
I just finished volume 9 and I’m enjoying it. It’s gotten better as it’s gotten further in. The Naruto comparison is pretty accurate and you’re right a lot of the curse explanations are a bit cockamamie but I try not to over think it.
I’ll have to go back and watch the anime on HBOMax now that I’ve surpassed season 1.

Well this is a first for me. I'm all caught up on the Japanese releases for a series. The last arc that finished was some really good stuff. The new one that is starting now is heavily reminding me of the Greed Island Arc in Hunter X Hunter.

Probably got a good long time before this finishes. But I'm sure you have plenty to read to keep you busy LoL

Oh yes I do have plenty to keep me busy! I may slowly read this an arc at a time or something like that.

I can really recommend to finish it! It seems like very slow in the beginning but I promise it‘ll definitely get better and there will be quite a lot character and story development :3
But still if you don‘t feel like reading it at all
I can also recommend the anime^^
I personally preferred the anime where you could clearly follow the storyline easily and also the animation is sooo smooth aaah-
I haven’t watched it yet Ai. But Volume 0 was the manga of the month last month and I enjoyed it so much I burned through all 147 chapters in less than 2 weeks.
I am close to finishing vol.1 of jjk and I am kind of pissed off at myself because I am reading too slow. Every other minute my mind wanders off and tries to understand the concept and meaning of the cursed energy because my brain cannot comprehend it. I thought I already caught on it when I read the prequel but it just gets confusing.
Yeah don’t over think it. They never try to under stand Shonen super powers they’re always ridiculous.
I just finished volume 1, I am actually disappointed because of the lack of information about the curses and that we were thrown quickly with a lot of action stuffs without any build up. It's just my opinion tho. I will definitely pick up the second volume because I am still interested with the story.
It really was a good time. I’ll let it finish the current tournament arc and then I’ll catch up.
