The Murder of Harriet Krohn is her most recent translated into english i think

I'll start with "In the Darkness" as well, the Spanish translation is "El ojo de Eva" (and that makes me wonder if it was translated from English instead of Norwegian). Thanks for the suggestion!

A guide to Karin Fossum’s Inspector Sejer | Crime Fiction Lover

I finished The Murder of Harriet Krohn back in December. It looks like it will be a long wait until her latest, The Drowned Boy will be available.
Meanwhile, I'm waiting on Arnaldur Indriðason's Reykjavik Nights, and Anne Holt's The Lion's Mouth to show up at my library.
Having pretty much read my through all the Scandinavian authors that I like, I'm been off reading some Scottish authors, like Peter Mays, Aline Templeton, and A.D. Scott. They'll do for now.

A ..."
Thank you, Jeremy. Your post is really helpful. It seems there are only six books translated into Spanish, and not sequentially. Anyway, I do have "El ojo de Eva" which is the first one I'm reading by Fossum, and I am enjoying it.

Absolutely agree Connie.

Then there are international publishing rights

Once the author gets popular, they might be better off in starting the series then vs. doing it focused on the book.

Thanks for this! I'd never hard of Sara Blaedel before and my public library has almost all of her books! It's a true gift to have a new, Nordic Noir author's books to devour.

sorry, January was an epic fail on the AoTM front - lots of personal stuff going on - but never fear, we are back!
Our February AoTM is none other than Karin Fossum - for many of us she was one of our earlier intros to the genre, and others, she is a new discovery as more of her books are translated to English
so where are you going to start?
