Currently reading two big books War and Peace, and Children of time by Adrian Tchaikovsky.

War and Peace - I want to read that someday. Children of Time - interested to see what you think about it.

2. Children of Ruin, 576 pages. I liked the Children of Time better than Ruin. The switching between past and present, as well as more POVs, made it a bit confusing.

War and Peace was a re-read for me. I read the Aylmer and Louise Maud version back in 2005,and at the time, I loved it. This time around (March, 2023). I read the Anthony Briggs version (Penguin), which was excellent, and I highly recommend it.
