Homicidal Muffin (cecchig) Just joined today. Was hoping someone can explain the 2021 challenge to me. I"m not sure if we read a book a month? A week?
I see lots of prompts but it seems like new ones every week?

Thank You for the Help,

Whitney | 118 comments The mods may add or change, but here's the basics:

Year long challenge. Read at your own pace and in whatever order you want to complete the challenge. All the categories (16 total) have been posted in their own threads. Here's a link to the Instagram post with all of them listed as well: https://www.instagram.com/p/CIoGPfWgo3E/

Finally, welcome aboard!

Happy to help! I love seeing everyone else's selections.

Dana | 4 comments What's everyone's thoughts on dark thrillers, literary w/horror leanings, or other adjacent types of lit for this challenge?

I'm new to the pod this year, caught up on a lot of episodes, and it seems like a lot of horror-adjacent makes it into the podcast, so I'm thinking it would be ok for the challenge. Tons of stuff I want to read falls in this grey area!

Leanne Olson (leanneolson) | 69 comments Grey areas are the best! I'm interpreting the challenge the same way you are, Dana.

Whitney | 118 comments I'm with you, too, Dana. Challenges are meant to be fun. If it's something you think you might hear discussed on the podcast, seems like fair game to me.
