Jillian (jilliemae) | 35 comments I just finished "I Am Malala," and also finished Miranda July's new book, "The First Bad Man." I would recommend it to someone who likes books that are out of the ordinary and quirky, but in a dark way. The book really takes you on an outlandish ride and you aren't completely sure what's going on a lot of the time, but that turns out to be the fun of it.

Susanchicagoland | 7 comments I enjoyed reading " The Ultimate Woody Allen Film Companion" by Jason Bailey. I would recommend this book to any Woody Allen fan because it has very interesting chapters about his movies that are easy to peruse, such as his major themes which includes humorous portrayals of death and love, an examination of his leading ladies, including his former girlfriends and wives, and a very interesting map of New York city that details the places in which his movies take place!
