Connor and Lara marry in Las Vegas.
Zack’s wife Joy was the intended target when she was shot. However, the man Connor captured and killed for her murder was not the shooter. It was clear she’d been targeted for several campaign events.
Roman was in love with Joy Hayes. She and Zack had a marriage of convenience, loving each other but not in love. They were good friends.
Natalia is killed by a sniper when Connor, Lara and Dax visit her. However, she’d left a note with her roommate. In it was a bounty list that included Dax’s father’s name. Joy’s name was on the list, too. So was Zack’s mother. Natalia is suspected of being part of old Russian intelligence and her former husband KGB. (hide spoiler)]
