Yeah, a few years ago and this next bit is embarrassing but... I liked (emphasis on the past tense) some parts of it. In my defense I was young, confused and was just starting to read for pleasure and I can proudly say that my tastes have evolved since then (I think this was the first romance novel I ever read, actually).
Anyway, read it if you like the cliche quirky good girl and abusive bad boy with a tragic past trope. Also, if you don't care much for character development because there was none whatsoever?

I never read the books and have no intention to but tried watching the movies when I was younger because my friends hyped them up so much, but I was never quite able to finish any of them, mostly because I kept comparing them to the vampire diaries though
