Okay, yay!! I'm excited to read this, I love getting books from different POVS. You've read the Red Queen series I'm assuming? If you did how did you like it? I have a lot of thoughts on it LOL

I'm just gonna say it was a rollercoaster, but the series is one of my favorites, I don't even know where to start and with each book we see more of different characters and POV which was so fun to me

I love when books have have different POVS if they're done well it's some of my favorite writing elements!

I also was a little shaky when it came to my opinion on this series some parts were so good and others were just so bad lol, her writing was a bit stretched out in places and just meh but I don't know, maybe this will be good!

My fav was King's Cage and my least favorite was Glass Sword omg it was so bad

I think that what I like about King's Cage is the tick of the book, haha we see more about the characters, and in that book I really "gave up" with Maven, and to know how mess up was his mother Ugh! such a bitch

I thought it was the best paced book in the series with the most interesting plot line! Were you surprised about Maven's betrayal? I've read some reviews and some people have been very shocked

Girl! Yesss! I think it's like the most shocking plot twist so far haha, I mean even sometimes I was like who's Mare going to chose? Or like what if Maven is better than Chaol? I stand by him

I wasn't actually surprised by the betrayal!!!

What were your thoughts on War Storm? I went on a MAD rant about it LOL in my review


(btw I'm reading the first POV/section today so when I finish I'll let ya know my thought. Have you read anything yet?)

I just watched your review and I kinda agree with that, I think it would be better if there was less pages, and so many people said that the need a real final, so the author decided to write this book

Wait, how's your edition? It's just mine have queen song and steel of scars first, which I already read it, and then it has sort of like mini stories with chapters

Mine is paperback edition and I'm currently on steel scars!!!!! What were your thoughts on Queen Song?

I forgot to mention what I thought of the first bits! I thought the letter from Julian was a little dry and boring not gonna like LOL, like I love history but that was DENSE writing. Wouldn't expect anything less from him LOL.

I did however LOVE learning about the succession line of the Calore's. It was so interesting!!! Cal's fathers little info paragraph was short but made me sad, I feel so bad for Julians sister :((

OMG I LOVE CORIANE JACOS! I feel so bad for her she did not deserve to die WHATSOEVER. What have you thought so far?

I absolutely love Queen Song, like that's why I love Red Queen so much, and about the succession line one of my favorites, I really like to learn about the past and different kings in this case, I think it was short because it's the only one we know but we don't have any clue about the other

Of course she didn't deserve it, but you can tell since the beginning was Elara and I hated it so much when I read the book like so manipulate and Ugh

Corianes part was so beautifully written, I literally wanted to cry so bad :')

Then SHADE AND FARLEYS PART WAS NOT FAIR OMG. THey are SO adorable together, it hurts knowing how things end. It was so interesting how they knew about Mare before they even met her, god both of these were a VERY solid 5/5 SO much better than the series so far!!!

I really enjoyed Steel Scars but I just most of it was information and with Queen Song was more like a story so I prefered that one

Are you in Ashe parts?

Yes! I was out of town the entire weekend (I'm currently moving so I have to take things back and forth every weekend :")) so I didn't get to read toooo much. But, I'm almost done with Ashe!

I'm not sure how I feel about it JUST yet, but what do you think about it if you're in that part/have read it?

I really was invested to know more, because at the beginning I didn't wasn't that interested but when I know that she's engage with someone and how is he I was yes girl, and what she did to him chef's kiss haha

I know we only got a few pages of this story, but I honestly loved Ashe and the Silver Princess MORE than Cal and Mare. They had such good chemistry and the ending made my heart so happy. I can really tell that the authors writing has matured and gotten better

I'm going to be reading about Cal and Mare + Elane and Evangeline today and then finishing off the book tomorrow with Cal and Maven!

I really liked them too but I didn't feel THAT attached because is really short, and also the really final was just them get together again, we don't see what really happened

To be honest Evangeline wasn't one of my favorites but I don't know now because what you said about the writing I think I saw it more in that story, I don't know why

Yeah, throughout the entire series I went back and forth about her. I like her sometimes and others.....I just didn't. She's a great example of a character you're meant to feel indifferent about! I am warming up to her slowly. I'm about halfway through her and Elane's story and am still indifferent LOLOLOL

Yeah I completely understand that. From the little bit we do get of them I loved it lol, I fell head over heels for them! I wish we could've gotten more from it to see where their relationship would've gone. It was cool seeing a different part of the rebellion though!

What I do like is that she's willing to help with all the rebellion thing even tough her family will hate her and of all that

I finished the book last Thursday I think! Have you yet? Ill write my thoughts on the last few novellas once I get back home later todah, let's just say for now it was INCREDIBLE!!!! SO MUCH IMPROVEMENT FROM THE SERIES! Ill also link my review once I write it :D
