Part I Thorns
Ch 1 Only the Dark
- [ ] Oh my goodness! That’s brutal! He lives but at the cost of his family! The Jackal, I have no words to describe him, to describe the hate I am feeling right now
- [ ] Poor Darrow, all that pain and loneliness

Ch 2 Prisoner L17L6363
- [ ] 9 months in that darkness! I think I’m going to be sick!
- [ ] How awful, I m surprised he didn’t try to knock his head open sooner. And reopening his knees would have been sooo painful !
- [ ] Just recently I slept on my arm and it was outstretched so far that when I woke, it hurt to much to try to close it or even move it! Took me at least 3-5 mins to get it moving normally. I can’t imagine the pain Darrow must have felt when he could stretch out his knees again
- [ ] I really hope Mustang didn’t know about Darrow, because if she did, I think she would be dead to me
- [ ] It looks like the resistance has died down dramatically

Ch 3 Snakebite
- [ ] Yes! I knew they would get him out! Thank you Servo! And for saving his family! Love you man
- [ ] That was one mighty booster though!

Ch 4 Cell 2187
- [ ] Shes alive! Paralysed but alive!
- [ ] Poor thing, she must have had it bad like Darrow

Ch 5 Plan C
- [ ] Oh man! Soo intense, can they all make it out!

Ch 6 Victims
- [ ] Trigg! 😭😭 I was just beginning to like him too!
- [ ] Ah yes nice! The driller! Smart

Ch 7 Bumblebees
- [ ] Wow what happened here? They’re on a ship? Are they okay? Who is the young boy? Ahh

Ch 8 Home
- [ ] Ah his uncle is alive! They’re all okay
- [ ] I KNEW IT! HARMONY YOU TRAITOR!
- [ ] Aww cute, I love that he is with his family again!
- [ ] Man Pierce really likes playing with our emotions! Damn, on the edge on my seat, crying my eyes out, and then smiling so wide it hurts! Ah these emotions are the death of me
- [ ] I feel bad for Darrow, everyone has so much faith and trust in him, and I am not saying he can’t do it but it’s a lot of pressure on his shoulders

Ch 9 The City of Ares
- [ ] Ah Servo! I can’t believe he is wearing his eyes! That’s disgusting and yet so awesome at the same time haha!
- [ ] Oh wow, they living in horrible situations. This is not looking good. I am loving how realistic this is. This is basically what War looks like
- [ ] And Cassius killed Flitchner ? I thought it was Harmony or the Jackal

Ch 10 The War
- [ ] Wow Servo has made him grand again
- [ ] I hope he can be the voice in this war like Eo was

Ch 11 My People
- [ ] I love Ragnar, he is so down to earth, everything that Darrow needs right now
- [ ] I see where Darrow is coming from with Servo, he is different now that he has taken the mantle of Ares. He needs to hide his emotions and find out the best action for this war. So I am glad Ragnar is with him to remind him of who he is, who he is fighting for and how to accomplish it

Ch 12 The Julii
- [ ] Wow Victra really has that fire inside her like her mum and sister have
- [ ] But I am glad Darrow is making amends and seeing the value in friendships and loyalties. He is growing as a person and it is amazing to witness it.
- [ ] I am so pumped to finish this! Can’t wait to read your thoughts :)

ahh i know, poor Darrow with his NINE MONTHS locked up, i almost cried when i read that! our boy deserves much better and i'm beyond furious at Roque and the Jackal. poor Darrow :(( thinking that the Jackal had his parents as well.

yeah surely she didn't know about Darrow... surely she would've tried to save him... but then again, she was fighting her own little war. i'm still so heartbroken that she left and didn't return. and yeah, Ares' army is kinda falling apart haha. good thing Darrow is back, i believe in him, he can fix this! and good old Sevro, bless that boy, thank god he didn't give up on Darrow. the eye thing is disgusting, but it's so absolutely Sevro that i love it haha.

ahh i know, poor dear Victra, i actually really like her and i trust that she will always be on Darrow's side. i hope she and Darrow help each other recover together. i kinda love her.

HAHAHA YES, AS SOON AS WE FOUND OUT I THOUGHT OF YOU! you absolutely guessed it, genius! and yeah i know right, he's really breaking our hearts and then making us laugh. he's an absolute magician. also yeah, poor Tripp, he was so cute :((. i hope we get more of his sister!

Ahhh I agree! I’m pretty sure I teared up when I read it, after my initial shock and anger! Me too, especially Roque and Cassius. Like I get it, Darrow is lying to them but I know he would not betray them like he has been betrayed, broken down, tortured and lied to about his family! Makes me see red! 😤😡

So true, she completely went off the grid and did her own thing after she found out. I really wished she was more supportive to Darrow, considering everything they have done and gone through together
I know thank goodness Servo is loyal to the end! I agree! It was totally weird and disgusting but such a Servo thing to do

Me too. I was very hesitant with her, but I think I like her more and see where her loyalties lies. Hopefully she can recover

Same! Glad his with Darrow and Darrow gave him a chance too! He really is starting to break the chains certain colours have been locked up due to the Golds.

Soo true!!! I am really enjoying it and discussing things with you helps me understand the story and sort out anything that doesn't make sense haha! Two minds think better than one!
