Hannah | 3291 comments I love historical fiction, and with a combination of strong women characters, mystery and spies, as well as having previously enjoyed this author’s work, I couldn’t wait to read this book. I also grew up less than 10 miles from Bletchley Park, and whilst I’m not sure why I have never visited the house, I have been intrigued by the stories of those who worked there during WW2 for a while. This is a dual timeline story, with the main part following Osla, Mab and Beth as they arrive at Bletchley Park and settle in to their work there. The second timeline takes place in 1947 in the run-up to the royal wedding and follows Osla and Mab as they re-unite to find out whether Beth, who was locked up in a mental asylum, is right in her insistence that there was a traitor at Bletchley Park who is still selling secrets. The book was long, but it was a very quick read, and I stayed up reading late into the night to find out what happened.

Have you read Circling the Sun or Love and Ruin by Paula McClain? If not, I HIGHLY recommend either of them!
