What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I think the main books I remember are part of the same universe but different series by the same author. The first book I remember centres around a young girl that is a part of a fairy type race that live in a large tree in a young human girls garden. The young fairy girl is the only fairy to have been born in a long time and as such the settlement/nest is in danger of dying out, (I believe the tree they live in is dying or something of the sort). The fairy girl and the human girl make contact but thats the most I remember about this book and this series.
The second book I remember features the fairies/fae type that can turn into birds but the mc (female) can't seem to trigger her powers for some reason, and learns eventually when she meets some mysterious young man who teaches her how to and she turns into a type of bird she can't reveal I think. The young man has a rather messy past where has in fact from 300 years ago (or a long time ago, 300 years is just the time frame that i thought of, unsure of whether or not this is the actual time frame) and was stuck in a cave and some sort of magical hiberntion/stasis and was tricked into believing that a random fae/fairy was his uncle (the fake uncle cast some illusion magic to change his hair colour and facial features to look more like the young man) so that he could be used for his powers (since he was fairly powerful).
I remember that the titles to each of these books were single words.
The book series had titles like raven, robin or rebel.
I distinctly rememeber the cover of a book from the second series being a girl with the brown hair, brown bird-like wings on a peach background.
If anyone could help that would be much appreciated T-T
*i tried to search with those words that i vaguely remember but they're used in so many books that without the author its impossible to find T-T

Hey I'm pretty sure the books are NOMAD and SWIFT by R.J. Anderson - they have recently been republished with the final book in the trilogy, TORCH by Enclave Publishing.

Haha no worries! She's one of my favourite authors and I was so sad when they stopped publishing the series in the UK! I've had 2 previous threads solved that I spent YEARS looking for and it's SUCH a good feeling haha. Happy to help!
