Style and Savings | 26 comments I'm so excited to be reading Tia Williams' new book and I really like it so far! How do you feel about the book? Any favorite scenes or characters?

Amy G | 6 comments Chapter 14 - Audre’s description of Lizette is the beauty of perspective. Lizette can be all the negative we are pushed to see her as and yet also this goodness perceived by Audre. I am very clearly a Lizette fan for how her character truly challenges the reader if they are open to it.

LaMissha Young | 7 comments Good morning everyone! I’ve been really purposeful with reading in the perimeters set as not to spoil anything for the IG meetings…I just finished chapter 19 and 😮. I am going to try my very best to stop at chapter 24!

I love that Eva has done everything she can to give Audre a carefree childhood, including rewriting her grandmother's character. Audre and Eva's relationship reminds me of Gilmore Girls - especially the scene when they argued in the hall of Cheshire Prep. It's sweet how close they are! Audre is a very well-written character. Her thoughts and point of view seem very on point for a pre-teen.
