I love you choice for a book with more than 500 pages! It's one of my all time favorites.

I tried "Monk" but it wasn't my thing, and didn't like "Laura Diamond" at all. I was a fan of "Elementary" and like "Endeavor" which is a prequel series to the "Inspector Morse" books and series. Also loved the old "Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" that was done in the '80s.

I've never watched "Elementary" or "Endeavor". I like watching the mysteries on the Hallmark channel.

#19 - The Night Manager - saw the miniseries but never read LeCarre's book.
#24 - Started "The Moor" by Laurie King but quickly gave up. I got through the first two in the series, not a big fan, but this was just too dense.

There were several good titles for 1985! It was a toss-up between that and The Polar Express for the challenge.

I loved that book! I also love the night before christmas.
