Karen, you know how much I love Darrow, and Yegi, for some comparison, I love Darrow about 100x more than I love Kal - and you know I love our precious Kaladin! And my boy Darrow… he just hasn’t been winning lately - especially in that last chapter - and oml it’s killing me!😭😭😭

Ephraim:
- his POV is definitely interesting and I’m intrigued to see where his character goes, I didn’t realise that Tripp was his love, but that’s so cute (and so sad). It was nice to see Holiday again, though I’m guessing she won’t be a major character in this trilogy, given she’s left the main squad of Howlers (which is totally fair).
- I wonder what this big heist is… these important Pinks definitely seem interesting, so I wonder what they hired Ephraim to steal? Surely it’ll be something we’ve heard of. Or someone hehe…
Lyria:
- poor girl, I feel so bad for her, she’s lost so much in recent years! I love Kavax so much though, I’ve missed him, he and Sophocles are so cute haha. The jellybean idea was genius… I can’t wait to see what happens next with Kavax and Lyria and her niece!
- I also really want to see where Kavax stands with the whole Darrow situation, whether he still supports Darrow or not.
Then the big one… Darrow:
- My poor, poor boy… what will happen to him now? His whole world is falling apart, and the council is against him, and even Mustang turned against him. I honestly stand with Mustang, I think he would have been ok if he stayed there, but I can absolutely understand Darrow, because damn, the PTSD that boy must have from the Jackal… I don’t blame him for trying to run. But oh god, now he’s killed that Obsidian… I’m so worried for him and the dark path he’s going down. What will happen to him? And Sevro?
- also his scene with Pax was so cute, I wish they got more time together, and it breaks my heart that Pax saw all of that. I wish that whole family could just be happy… same for Sevro’s family.
- oh and I love Victra haha, her relationship with Darrow is questionably close hahaha but I love it. I wonder what will happen to her now… I hope she and Mustang are able to band together.
Ahh overall I’m just so worried for Darrow, and the rest of that damn galaxy! And I know people will turn against Darrow now, which will absolutely kill me. It will wholeass cut my soul. Damn I’m attached to these characters… this trilogy is going to destroy me, I just know it😅. I’m so scared!

~sorry i only gushed about two darrow's chapter but i'm also intrigued about lyra and others as well. Want to see what this heist ephariam is having in future.i have no clue. And also curious about the seraphina thing. I'm alittle confused about them because i can't make the connection between tgis relationship so i might sleep on this one for alittle bit .

EXACTLY and yes so true Yegi haha, it's definitely similar to when the freaking king stuck our boy kal in jail!! the absolute disrespect!! both our boys deserve better, i will fight anyone that says otherwise👊.

yeah i love Victra😂😂 but nope they're not a thing, victra told darrow that she would happily be a thing with him and not-so-subtly hinted that was attracted to him multiple times, but he shut her down and she moved onto sevro after a little while. their relationship is just like that😂 that's just victra for you! she's been really devoted to darrow since he saved her from the jackal.

- [ ] Well, they have lost many powerful allies now
- [ ] But what will Sefi do now? What does she want to do now that she is focusing on her people? Is she going to try and save everyone that she can on her own? I’m worried about her now. To me she doesn’t seem the most loyal, yes she’s been with them for 10 years but I always had a doubts with her
- [ ] And yeah I kinda expected Holiday to back out, she’s another one that I question their loyalty

I love these books. Karen, you know how much I love them! But I seriously don’t know if I can handle this book haha, it’s actually traumatising me, I’m practically depressed over it already. I’m three seconds away from going on strike if my children don’t get some damn happiness!! And it’s not looking like they’ll get happiness anytime soon…

remember the entire disgusting scene a couple of books ago, where holiday and darrow became howlers? and they had to eat bugs and everything?? and there was a whole load of drinking haha? holiday is the grey who was trigg's sister, remember.
